This I/O expansion module is part of the Modicon M171/M172/M173 range, a control offer for HVAC/Pumping applications. This additional I/O module offers 2 digital inputs, 5 configurable analog inputs, 4 digital outputs, and 5 analog outputs. It has one port for LAN expansion bus. This module offers Additional I/O to the M171 controller. DIs are open collectors and AIs are NTC, 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-10V, 0-5V, 0-1V. DOs are SPST or SPDT (2A, 230Vac), AOs are open collectors for 12V PWM/PPM, 0-10V, or 4-20mA. It measures 70.2mm wide, 61.6mm deep, 87mm high, and weighs 0.385kg.
